Rick Perry’s Really Gay Creekside Christmas Party

YouTube took our Rick Perry video down again, so here it is in our own video player so you can watch it whenever and forever. We will not remove it. It only took YouTube an hour to remove it the second time. We are baffled by this for two reasons, one being that we know that thousands of people have already flagged the original video, yet it’s still hopping along, spreading its message of holiday togetherness. We’re also baffled because the video was flagged for “nudity or sexual content”, yet the clip we used was found on YouTube. Here. In fact, YouTube, you host hundreds of videos more inappropriate than the one we used.

So you’re honestly saying, YouTube, that enough people were offended by our silly video in one hour, but there still aren’t enough people offended by the original one that has been up for more than a day? Are you saying, YouTube, that Rick Perry being a bigot by a creek is less offensive than two dudes frenching near a creek? If you’re not saying that, then Rick Perry has clearly gotten to you and we’re sorry. We now address Rick Perry.

First of all, Rick Perry, what the fuck are you doing on Tumblr right now? Quit scrolling through reblogs of The Same Picture of Dave Coulier Every Day. You want to lead the country? Fat chance. We also notice that you’ve turned off comments to your video. Class A move there, Rick-who-also-wants-to-be-president. No need to listen to other people when you’re president, right, Rick? Sure, it’s YouTube, so everyone would mostly just call you a fag. But also? Rick? You’re acting pretty faggy right now. Preeeetty faggy.

So anyway jokes jokes jokes and stuff blah blah blah, we are very seriously disappointed in whoever decided to take the video down (twice), but we’re even more disappointed in whoever decided to keep the original video up.

Oh and, hey, Rick Perry and friends, go fuck yourself in whichever way pleases you the least, thanks.

We’re Cracked and we approve this message.

Version numbers don’t matter

bvckup:

In the spirit of documenting changes that are obvious, but only in retrospect I want to go over a new versioning scheme that I am adopting for Bvckup. Its executive summary is -

No more dotted version numbers.

In other words, “Bvckup 2.1.3.14” becomes “Bvckup 2, revision 37” …or thereabouts.

The malware attack(s) that my site suffered in recent weeks put into motion a series of changes which have been planned for some time now—some for a few months, some for a couple years.

What follows is a detailed explanation of the changes.

New Design

Over Christmas Break in 2007, I started…

Entire Tamriel Landmass built into Skyrim.

ppsh-41:

I didn’t know if this was posted yet on tumblr, so I thought I’d do it. The landmass of almost all of the provinces in Tamriel, has been put into Skyrim. All which are inaccessible(without console commands) and which serve absolutely no purpose in the game. Why are they there? I personally don’t know. But take a look at the effort Bethesta put into these seemingly pointless landmasses.

At the south-eastern most part of Skyrim lays Stendarr’s Beacon.

If you’ve looked at a map of Tamriel, you’ll know this is the closest place in Skyrim, to Morrowind.

If you travel directly North East of Stendarr’s Beacon, you’ll end up finding a path to your right, in between two huge mountains.

I noticed how beautiful the path really looked. It seemed quite enthralling actually for some reason.

The path is nestled between two mountains, decorated with trees, and at the end of it some type of gateway, or arch.

But, that open archway is the end of the road. The game doesn’t allow you to go any further. I find it strange, that there’s an area like this leading from Skyrim to Morrowind. Nowhere in the lore was this stone wall mentioned. And why would it be an open arch like that? Why not closed? Why is there a space at all between these mountains if we can’t go any further? As you can see there are still trees and foliage beyond this wall, but you aren’t able to access it without console commands.

So, I went into No-clip like the BAMF I am and travelled down this path.

Landmass photos below.

Slashdot was reporting yesterday that OSes are sliming down. The post was talking about userland stuff like MySQL or CUPS but an obvious question is: how about the internals? Do they get better? One attempt to measure this is to look at the interactions between the various Linux filesystems and…
